To run this sample, download and run the .msi file and import it with the BizTalk administration console.

Note: By default, all components will be deployed to a BizTalk application called "TestExcel".

Once these components are deployed, ensure a receive port, a receive location and a send port is created in the BizTalk application. Ensure that the receive location uses the XlsxReceive pipeline. You can click the browse button next to it to very the property values like namespace etc. By default all ports point to D:\TestExcel\In folder. You will need to create these folders or change the location if you like.

The send port should have a filter to receive messages from the receive port created above.

Once all the ports are created, start the application and drop the sample.xlsx file in the folder on which the receive location is pointing to.

Hi Dipesh,

I got it working I added the ICSharpCode.SharpZipLib.dll in both pipeline components folder as well as added this as resource in application, it started working great. Can you explain the need of this Zip functionality here ?

Thank you very much for your valuable post
